Efficient Machine: Continued Work

Sat Jun 27, 2009, 6:59 AM
  • Mood: Zeal
  • Listening to: Solaris OST
  • Reading: Film As Art
  • Watching: Moon Trailer
  • Drinking: Pinon Hazelnut Coffee
So, I am finally continuing work on Efficient Machine. I have been writing on it, but it's all been hand written, here and there. My progress stopped, however, when I lost the hand written copy of the third scene, which I had put a great deal of thought into the writing of. That was frustrating. I tried rewriting it a few times, but I just couldn't capture it the same way.

After numerous searches, I finally managed to find it this morning. Whoo!

I am officially back to working on Efficient Machine, and have started typing all of the hand written work I have done. I'll start delving in to it during this coming week.

My intro to film class (MA210) is going ok. I got a B+ on the first quiz and cannot figure out which questions I got wrong. That's driving me up a wall. And not helping me learn any. I had an essay exam in that class on Thursday, so I'm hoping the usual applies and I rocked it out. I felt good about it, but who knows. This guy might be a total hard ass and let no one get an A.

Work is finally gearing down now. The wicked witch of the west should be getting back from Louisiana soon, so I can stop working every day and actually get some other work done. Like Kysis Productions and Efficient Machine. And that test script for the local comedy sitcom.

Moon (www.moon-movie.com) is due to open here in ABQ on July 10th, which I am very happy about. Hopefully the theater isn't eons away from me. I plan on going to see it as soon as humanly possible, probably on opening day. I may drag lots of friends with me to show support for the movie.

Just got Solaris in the mail from Netflix. That is totally going to help my sci-fi thriller kind of mood. <3 I'm probably going to watch that today, before work.

And I think that's all for this update.

If you had AIM, I'd invite you to the screnzy sprints tonight. I'm sure you'd get the rest done tonight in that case. ^^;

Screnzy Sprints give mondo pagecount boosts. Like, most people write 3 pages per sprint, there are three sprints, then minutes each, per hour, and some sprint sessions take place for a few hours. If you do the math, you see how it adds up. ^^

But, you don't have aim, and the "late night" screnzy sprints advertised on the screnzy LJ always take place in my late night, your early morning, Aussy's lunch.

Me + early morning = not happening. There's some math you should know all too well by now XD

So that's how you've got such a monsterous page count?
